The Together Group will be visiting the Castle Museum on Wednesday 21 March for The Square Box on the Hill exhibition, which illustrates the Castle’s history through photographs, paintings, plans and archives, many of which haven’t been on display before. There will also be the latest plans for the castle’s Gateway to Medieval England project. If you would like to join us please speak to Pauline Mann or Roy McLean.
Make a note in your diary of Friday 20 April at 7.30 pm, when the distinguished poet, priest and singer-songwriter Malcolm Guite will be presenting Songs and Sonnets for Christian Aid at Norwich Cathedral. You will have read some of his poems in our Notices. We’re fortunate that he has fitted this event into his programme of performances at festivals and cathedrals across the world. Tickets at £7.50 are available from The Revelation Bookshop (8 Redwell Street) or online at: http://bit.ly/songsandsonnets. All profits will go to Christian Aid. See page 29 of your March Contact for a review of his latest book: Love, Remember: 40 Poems of Loss, Lament and Hope.
You’re invited to join with other churches in praying this week for St George, Colegate and for the pubs and restaurants in our city.
