v Methodist Safeguarding rules mean that we need all key holders to sign new Safeguarding Form D Key holder Declarations. If you are a key holder Chris Hopper or Margaret Snelling will, over the next few weeks, let you have a new form to sign. It is also an opportunity to review who holds keys to the church; if you have a key please consider returning it if it is no longer a necessity.
v MHA is organising a Circuit event at Hethersett Methodist Church to raise awareness of the services they offer for older people. Everyone is welcome to attend. It will take place on Tuesday 5 March, 11.00 am – 1.00 pm, and will include a free light buffet lunch. Anita Ingham has further details if you are interested.
v All are invited to a Circuit MWiB Spring Lunch on Thursday 7 March, 12.30 pm for 1.00 pm, at Trinity Church, Thorpe Marriott, in aid of the President’s charity, The 3 B’s. v Thursford Songs of Praise on 24 March: The coach is now fully booked. The cost is £8 per person; please pay Terry Dunning by the end of February. We shall be leaving Chapel Field Road Methodist Church at 1.20 pm and picking up friends from Thorpe Marriott at around 1.40 pm, arriving at Thursford at 2.30 pm. The Songs of Praise starts at 3.00 pm. The coach will leave Thursford at 5.00 pm; expected time of arrival at Chapel Field Road is 6.00 pm. Individuals should arrange their own parking before embarking on the coach at Chapel Field Road.
v MWiB’s Spring District Day will be held at Dereham Methodist Church on 28 March, when the speaker will be Rev Debbie Caulk. If you would like to attend and go by coach please let Margaret Snelling know as soon as possible, at the latest by 11 March. It commences at 11.00 am and will finish at around 4.00 pm.
