 The February issue of Contact, our Church magazine, is out now. Do ask the Pew Stewards for your copy. Items for the March edition should be with Pauline Mann today.

 If you will be at the Church Council meeting tomorrow, 18 February, you should bring your January edition of Contact with you.

Stewardship Renewal 2019
You will soon be receiving, or may already have received, an envelope containing forms on which we invite you to enter: 1. The ways in which you already devote your Time and Talents in the service of our Church. Please don’t forget this; we want to celebrate it! 2. Opportunities you would like to take to help in other ways this year. There’s another form (violet) for your thoughtful Pledge of Giving, taking into account the financial situation of the Church.

3 March is Stewardship Sunday
When we shall return and dedicate our pledges, giving thanks to God for all that he has so generously given for us.

 Margaret Snelling and Chris Hopper are reviewing who holds keys to the church. If you have a key please consider returning it if it is no longer a necessity.

 MHA is organising a Circuit event at Hethersett Methodist Church to raise awareness of the services they offer for older people. Everyone is welcome to attend. It will take place on Tuesday 5 March, 11.00 am – 1.00 pm, and will include a free light buffet lunch. Anita Ingham has further details if you are interested.

 All are invited to a Circuit MWiB Spring Lunch on Thursday 7 March, 12.30 pm for 1.00 pm, at Trinity Church, Thorpe Marriott. To book a place let Margaret Snelling know no later than next Sunday, 24 February. Details are on a poster on the Church Centre notice board.

 Refresher Safeguarding Courses are being held at Chapel Field Road on Saturdays 9 and 23 March at 9.45 am for 10.00 prompt, to finish by 12.30 pm. Please book places as soon as possible with Michael Garratt: 01603 457053 or

 Thursford Songs of Praise on 24 March: The cost for the coach is £8 per person; please pay Terry Dunning by the end of February. It will leave Chapel Field Road at 1.20 pm, arriving at Thursford at 2.30 pm. Songs of Praise starts at 3.00 pm. The coach will leave Thursford at 5.00 pm, arriving at Chapel Field Road at 6.00 pm. Please arrange your own parking before embarking on the coach.

 MWiB’s Spring District Day will be held at Dereham Methodist Church on 28 March, 11.00 – 4.00, speaker Rev Debbie Caulk. If you’d like to attend and go by coach please let Margaret Snelling know at the latest by 11 March.
